Resources and Support

This is a list of resources available on campus for graduate students facing a wide array of issues. It was compiled by the department’s Graduate Peer Advisor in 2022-2023, Elmira Louie, as a starting point for students looking for resources for situations from emergencies and basic needs (housing, food, etc.) to health and wellness challenges, to academic issues. The list is not exhaustive, but it may be a good place to start if you are trying to locate resources on campus.

Emergencies and Basic Needs:

Graduate Studies Emergency Grant Program

UC Davis Graduate Studies has a psychologist who specializes in college mental health and graduate student concerns and issues. Her patients are all graduate students, as opposed to the university’s counseling service at North Hall and the Health and Wellness Center, which are open to the whole student body.
