Bio
My research focuses on comparing Chinese and English translations of Japanese literature produced during its vernacular movement known as genbun itchi. I am currently working on the translation of a short story titled "The Acacia Flower" by Tayama Katai (1872-1930), one of the founders of modern Japanese naturalism.
