Comparative Literature Ph.D. Candidate Amy Riddle Published in Collection of Critical Essays on Energy

Comparative Literature Ph.D. Candidate Amy Riddle has researched and taught courses that analyse 'petrofiction' - world literature that addresses issues with natural resources, energy and the modern hydrocarbon culture. Her paper, "Petrofiction and Political Economy in the Age of Late Fossil Capital," is to appear in the forthcoming publication, Materialism and the Critique of Energy, from MCM Publishing.

In addition to her upcoming publication, Riddle has also presented a paper at the African Literature Association conference at Yale University in June. The paper that she presented at the conference was entitled: "Capital and Infrastructure in African Science Fiction."
